Since returning from overseas in ’08, Rock Like This have recognised the diligence, style and charisma JD helms by adding him to the roster allowing him to further hone and improve his craft by playing regularly at some of Melbourne’s well-known and busiest clubs.

With his roots and inspiration coming mostly from late 80′s to early 90′s hip hop and Techno. JD now mixes with precision, a selection of funky, bouncey party bangers that keep onlookers moving and in awe throughout his entire set. And for the keen ears; little gems from the past alongside the lastest from the talented local and international company JD admires, respects and shares time.

His ambition to never stop evolving, involving others, inspiring others and being inspired, has gained him a loyal following of party-goers, beat enthusiasts, friends and peers. JD thrives on being the enabler of an enjoyable time through picky selection of tunes and playing them to anyone who shares his philosophy of ‘share and enjoy’.

JD’s passion and loyalty for the tunes and the Melbourne scene is hard to rival, seeing him behind and decks and on the dance floor in support and admiration of his sourroundings, and seen by all as a healthy addiction. Grateful of the many invites he’s been extended and relationships established with organisers, owners, crew and varied other creative types of whom he vibes, and spend alot of his time with.
