‪The Plump DJs, Lee Rous and Andy Gardner, have been pushing their unique sound since the late 90s and have cemented themselves as avid leaders of diverse electronic music. Pioneers of the early Breaks scene, The Plump DJs gained heavyweight status through their success of still legendary artist albums such as ‘A Plump Night Out’ and ‘Eargasm’, which then, in turn, lead to their groundbreaking residency at Londons infamous club “Fabric”.‬
Moving through more recent years, the Plump DJs have further pushed their unique sound through their own ‘Grand Hotel Records’ label, merging breakbeat styles with an electro, house and Bass vibe to continue their supply of ever evolving beats. With releases like; “Boomer”, “Light Fantastic” and the groundbreaking “Gobstopoper”, Not to mention their collaboration and remix projects for acts like Deadmau5, Stanton Warriors, Loops of Fury, Fatboy slim and Orbital to name just a few, the quality of releases remain incredibly exciting, with constant worldwide support from other industry heavyweights, global club plays, and respect from all direction. The Plumps have not only established their place in the world music scene, they’ve showed they’re here to stay…
